On my recent visit to Kochi I came across this excellent hotel which went beyond my expectations considering it was a budget hotel. Rooms were nice and clean and a special mention of the staff who made the stay a memorable one. I would recommend you check this place out the next time you are in town.

If you are on a tight budget and looking for three star hotel this definitely fits the grade. The owner works at the front desk and is extremely helpful. On the first night I heard a lot of noise, went out to investigate and there was a long line of women with candles singing, then followed by three beautifully dressed elephants. Next day across the road I witness prayer service for St Antony's Shrine and it was also amazing and felt so much like a Hindu celebration. For about six rupees can catch the bus to the ferry and then for another four rupees travel to Kochin Fort.
